More than 650 Braden River and Lakewood Ranch Little Leaguers took to the field for their league's respective Opening Day Ceremony and Family Fun Day Feb. 19. Players and their families enjoyed bounce houses, games, food, music and other activities before settling in for an afternoon of exhibition games. The spring season officially begins today.
