The following information was gathered from incident and arrest reports obtained from the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

LAKEWOOD RANCH
June 20
9:32 a.m. — The intersection of Balmoral Woods Boulevard and Arnold Palmer Green. Property to be destroyed. The complainant got rid of an old boat and still had the signal kit. He needed the kit taken care of because he didn’t want it in his home anymore. The kit was placed into Manatee County Sheriff’s Office property.

HERITAGE HARBOUR
June 20
3 a.m. — 8600 block of Stone Harbour Loop. 
Burglary to a residence. The complainant stated she left her residence to go to the Hess station to buy cigarettes. She stated when she returned about 15 minutes later, her medications were taken off her nightstand and her debit card also was taken.

4:45 p.m. — 8600 block of Stone Harbour Loop. Baker Act. The deputy responded to the residence after the subject told her neighbor to call the police. Upon arrival, it was determined the subject was not in a stable mindset and had caused significant injury to herself. The subject was transported to Manatee Memorial Hospital via EMS for evaluation.

OTHER
June 19
8 p.m. — 4300 block of Drake Boulevard E. Information. The complainant reported unknown person(s) entered her yard and took a skateboard ramp valued at $250. There were no witnesses to the incident and no evidence was left behind. The complainant was issued a case number and was advised to call is she had any additional information. She later called back to advise that she had found the skateboard ramp around the corner from her home in the 4300 block of 56th Avenue Terrace E. When the responding deputy arrived at the suspect residence, the owner stated his son took the skateboard ramp because he thought the complainant moved and left it in the yard. The complainant is moving out of her residence, but she did respond and picked up the ramp.

June 20
4 p.m. — 8471 Lockwood Ridge Road (Shell). Trespass warning. The complainant asked the suspect to leave several times and he refused. The responding deputy spoke with the suspect upon arrival. The complainant walked out and said she wanted the suspect trespassed. She then told the suspect he was being trespassed. The suspect stated he understood and that he would be arrested if he returned.

5:40 p.m. — 1300 block of Morgan Johnson Road. Operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. The responding deputy was dispatched to the location in reference to a suspicious person who was traveling from house to house in a truck asking for money. The deputy observed the vehicle turning onto Morgan Johnson Road from 13th Avenue E. The vehicle, driven by the defendant, pulled into Wendy’s at 5700 S.R. 64. The deputy pulled in behind the defendant as he was exiting his vehicle. The deputy asked for identification and the suspect said he didn’t have any. The deputy then asked him if he had a driver’s license and he said “no.” The suspect said he was visiting from Georgia and was driving his brother-in-law’s vehicle. He said he was stopping at homes asking for money, so he could buy gas. It was later confirmed that he didn’t have a driver’s license.
