Fifty more reasons this father is thankful today

There have been multiple occasions in the car with my two young children when I've turned to my wife and told her the only thing I wanted for Christmas, my birthday or Father's Day is that limousine window that separates the driver from the back seat.

In three-and-a-half months, Bird Key Yacht Club has undergone renovations to its front entrance, parking lot, entry hall, lobby and has introduced a two-story foyer and port cochere. The project was completed according to budget and just in time for the Commodore's Ball on Saturday, Nov. 19. A ceremonial cannon was fired in conjunction with the doors flying open and the lights coming on. Club members were received by board members and the new and old Commodores.
