+ Steve Harris joins Michael Saunders’ St. Armands office
Steve Harris has joined the St. Armands office of Michael Saunders & Co. Harris previously worked for Prudential Palms Realty, for which he ranked in the top 3% of nationwide fine-home specialists. He is an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). In his spare time, Harris has helped to run fishing tournaments for Sarasota youths and has been active with the Sarasota Environmental Aquatics Team, helping with sea-grass surveying and scallop seeding in Sarasota Bay.

+ Signature Sotheby’s participates in international conference
Signature Sotheby’s International Realty recently participated in the 2011 Sotheby’s International Realty Global Networking Event, which drew approximately 1,150 attendees from 30 countries. Attending the event were Judie Berger, Linda Bradway, Carol Clark, Candria Crisp, Tamara Currey, Todd Currey, Valerie DallAcqua, Mike Debitetto, Jodi Emrick, Toi Estes, Sandra Simic, Terry Hayes, Victoria Horstmann, Joan Koplin, David Kovalsky, Martha Marlar, Barbara Mei, Lisa Rooks Morris, Jo Rustein, Joel Schemmel, Toni Schemmel, Gigi Silverberg, Roberta Tengerdy, Charles Totonis and Jo-Anne Whalen. The three-day event took place at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Miami.

+ Andrew Bers earns Five Star Short Sale and REO certifications
Andrew Bers, broker/associate of Re/Max Alliance Group’s Longboat Key branch, has earned the Five Star Short Sale Certification and Real Estate Owned properties (REO) certification. The Short Sale Certification allows Bers to guide homeowners and lenders through the short-sale process. The REO certification shows Bers’ foundation in aspects of handling REO properties, including management, marketing, providing broker price opinions and more.
