THURSDAY, March 24

The Riverview boys and girls tennis teams will close out the regular season when the Rams travel to The Out-of-Door Academy at 4 p.m. Facing one of the top programs in the area, the match will serve as a tune-up for the Class 4A-District 8 tournament, which begins March 29. 

SATURDAY, March 26

Forty-two seniors from 12 high schools across Sarasota and Manatee Counties, including Sarasota, Riverview, Booker and Cardinal Mooney, will hit the court for the Sarasota-Manatee Boys & Girls All-Star Basketball Game. The girls game will tip-off at 3:30 p.m., in Sarasota High’s new gymnasium, followed by the boys game at 5:30 p.m. 

MONDAY, March 28

Some of the state’s top baseball talent will be on display during the Second Annual Taylor Emmons Memorial Classic, which begins at 9 a.m., at The Out-of-Door Academy. Eight teams from Clearwater to Naples, including Cardinal Mooney, will compete in the tournament, which runs through March 31.

TUESDAY, March 29

The Riverview boys lacrosse team will return home to face The Out-of-Door Academy at 7:30 p.m. in its final week of the regular season. The Rams have won six straight since a pair of losses to start the season.
