“We just loved the proximity to the beach and just how pretty it was,” Michelle Hoover said.  “It’s very quiet and not quite as busy and congested as I’d consider the other parts of Sarasota. The north end is very quiet and very laid back.”

The blue color and white trim of the home’s exterior hint at its peaceful interior.

“The house we moved from had a lot more color,” Michelle Hoover said. “I wanted it to be very similar to the beach, just very light, calm and very serene. I didn’t want to do anything too whimsical.”

The house has three bedrooms — a master suite for Michelle and Brad Hoover, which takes up the entire second floor, a bedroom for their 9-year-old son and a guest bedroom their 19-year-old daughter occupies when she visits from the University of Tampa.
