Blazers roll into semifinals

The Sarasota Christian volleyball team swept Everglades City 3-0 in the Class 2A-Region 3 quarterfinals Oct. 27.

The Sarasota Christian volleyball team kept its season alive with a 25-7, 25-8, 25-7 victory versus Everglades City in the Class 2A-Region 3 quarterfinals Oct. 27. 

Cheyenne Miller powered the Blazers with seven kills and four aces. Andrea Wittmer contributed six kills. McKenzie Lantz tallied 33 assists and four aces. 

With the win, Sarasota Christian (24-5) will play host the winner of the regional quarterfinal between Seacrest Country Day and Keswick Christian at 2 p.m. Oct. 31.
