Clayton Rusnak, 8
What has been your favorite part of learning about the government?
I like learning about the judicial branch. We learned a lot about court and why it’s important. Court is important because a criminal may have done something and they can keep on doing it because they didn’t go to court.

If you had to create any law, what would it be?
That nobody should just listen to somebody when they’re telling them to do something they don’t feel comfortable with.

Nevaeh McCarthy, 8
What does a lawyer do?
Somebody who needs help in court calls a lawyer.

What has been your favorite part of learning about the government?
My favorite part is when my teacher talks about the courthouse and tells us what a judge does and what they do there. For example, if criminals do bad things, like murder somebody, they’ll go on death row.

If you had to create any law, what would it be?
I would say no more drugs. I would close all the drug factories, and if anyone catches someone with drugs, they’d go to court.
