Beach wedding captures perfect Key moment

Jessica Lenobel, granddaughter of Longboat Key Commissioner Hal and Hazel Lenobel, married Ian Paige Saturday, Oct. 15, on the beach at the Longboat Key Club and Resort. Scarsdale, N.Y., resident Jessica and Roslyn, N.Y., resident Ian met in 2000 at the University of Michigan, where they both studied.

The couple decided to have the wedding on Longboat Key, because Jessica and her family consider it their home away from home.

“There’s no better place to make a weekend out of it than where we have been coming for years,” says Donna Lenobel.

The couple spent a few days in Puerto Rico after the wedding but are planning a two-week honeymoon next year.
