Former Longboat Key resident and longtime Temple Beth Israel member Shirley Fein recently joined Mote Marine Laboratory’s Advisory Council. Fein is a retired writer who continues to freelance for local publications and is an active volunteer in the community. Her late husband, Arnold, also served on Mote’s Advisory Council.
