Cops Corner

April 6 Family food 10:55 p.m. - 2800 block of Trinidad Street. Battery. An uncle and nephew got into an argument while standing in the kitchen of the home they share. The nephew said his uncle was threatening him and then opened a drawer to grab a knife. The nephew said he grabbed his uncle by the neck in self defense. The uncle said he was making food during the argument and grabbed the knife to cut the food, not to hurt his nephew. Neither the nephew nor uncle wanted to press charges.

Police called the landscape company's office to let them know the crew, whose members did not speak English, could not park on the grass.
