Two teens arrested in connection with May 16 fatal shooting

Two juveniles have been detained in connection with a May 16 fatal shooting in north Sarasota. 

The Sarasota Police Department has arrested Tujuan Byrd, 15, and Ladarius Goodman-Mills, 14, both of Sarasota, in connection with a homicide near the intersection of 31st Street and Osprey Avenue.

A 28-year-old man was shot shortly after 10 p.m. and died from his injuries. Both Byrd and Goodman-Mills are charged with murder.

Investigators continue to seek details regarding the incident.
