“I have been wanting to throw this concert forever,” said David Stasney, music director. “So I said why not go all out and make it a high tea?”
The event was held on Dec. 9. Members of the church spent the week prior baking two types of scones, peppermint bark, shortbread and much more. They decorated the room in Christmas colors and guests dressed festively as well.
The artists Tasha Robinson and Johanna Davis curated a program of well-known Christmas hymns and songs for guests to enjoy.
“It is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday evening in the holiday season,” said Mari Zevin, a member of All Angels Church. “They really went all out. Everything was delicious and the concert was absolutely touching.”
