Temple Beth Israel hosts last Shabbat dinner of the season

Congregants enjoyed a Cinco de Mayo-themed meal for the temple's last Shabbat for several months on May 4.

It’s not everyday that Temple Beth Israel congregants see Rabbi Stephen Sniderman saying the motzi blessing while wearing a sombrero.

But that was the case May 4 at the temple’s last Shabbat dinner of the season. In true Cinco de Mayo fashion, diners munched on burritos and sipped sangria while visiting with friends.
