Longboat Island Chapel reunites for Oktoberfest

On Oct. 29, chapel members enjoyed brats and live music.

There might not have been lederhosen, but there was plenty of cheer at Longboat Island Chapel’s Oktoberfest.

On Oct. 29, chapel members and friends gathered following the Sunday morning service for an Oktoberfest and welcome back celebration complete with beer hats, brats and live music.

Jim Scherz performed the accordion while guests ate, and all were encouraged to dance the polka following lunch.
