Bird Key Yacht Club hosted its Fourth of July party on Monday. 222 people RSVP’d for the event that featured “Minute to Win It”- inspired games, a flag ceremony, dinner, potato races and fireworks.

Social Chair Marshall Fernandez said it was a good time with lots of grandchildren visiting grandparents. Fernandez and some fellow club members spent time prior to the event decorating the club and making the table centerpieces which were made out of decorated paper towel and toilet paper rolls. Fernandez said she got the idea from Pinterest.
