Longboat Harbour hosts holiday celebration

Longboat Harbour didn’t forget the reason for the season.

At the residence’s holiday party on Dec. 10, called “Longboat Harbour Gives Back,” each of the 104 attendees donated a toy or check to Toys for Tots. Together, the group will donate two boxes of toys and more than $500 to the organization. 

“It’s all about giving back,” Mary Jean Drugan said.

Attendees enjoyed live music from Ned Gray and a buffet-style dinner. Longboat Harbour’s employees were invited to the event, and property manager Igor Solovyer spoke to the crowd and said that he feels the residents there are a family.
