Families hula up fun at Tara

The family luau included music, dancing and Hawaiian-inspired festivities.

Students at Tara Elementary School donned grass skirts and leis April 15, as they enjoyed a luau event with their families.

“I like to dress up,” 6-year-old Isabella Miller said, looking down at her grass skirt.

Festivities included hula and other dance performances, carnival-style games, pizza and snacks and other Hawaiian-inspired festivities.
