Rotary Club gives back

The Rotary Club of Longboat Key hosted its biweekly food pantry in collaboration with All Faiths Food Bank on Sept. 17 at Tuttle Elementary School.

In January, the club began the food pantry to help combat hunger in Sarasota.

“It just serves a great cause,” food pantry co-coordinator Bob Simmons said. “There are a lot of underserved families in the area. This really helps them.
