Scallopalooza helps restore the bay's ecosystem

More than 160 people helped benefit Sarasota Bay scallop restoration in the at Sarasota Bay Watch’s fifth annual Scallopalooza Oct. 3.

The event included a cocktail hour, dinner, a presentation and a silent auction.

The event organizers hoped Scallopalooza would raise $20,000 to $25,000.
