Savor Sarasota 10th Anniversary Preview

Michael's Wine Cellar hosted the preview of the tenth community-wide culinary event

Sarasota's culinary community has grown exponentially since 2005. And with the tenth anniversary of Savor Sarasota, food lovers and Sarasota residents have a chance to taste and experience over 50 restaurants at a discounted price.

Hosted by Visit Sarasota County, Savor Sarasota runs from June 1 through 14 and participating restaurants will offer three-course lunch and dinner options at a discounted price of $15 and $29, respectively. Each restaurant has specially curated their lunch and dinner offerings at discount price to expose Sarasota residents to the rich culinary environment right in their backyard. And with a higher concentration of Zagat-rated restaurants in the entire state of Florida, Savor Sarasota will make customers' taste buds and wallets dance with joy.

"Savor Sarasota is our time to shine," says Jamil Pineda, executive chef at Michael's on East, who has been participating in Savor Sarasota every year since it began. "We keep the dishes and the ingredients local and it brings customers in and we get to showcase our product. It shows that Sarasota is capable of being one of the best food cities in the country. It's an epicurean adventure."
