High five moments of the week

1 -  The Lakewood Ranch High girls track team scored 250 points to win the Charlotte Quad Meet Feb. 28 at Charlotte High.

2 - Josh Bonynge struck out nine to lead the Cardinal Mooney baseball team to an 8-1 district victory against Bradenton Christian Feb. 27.

3 - The Lakewood Ranch High baseball team scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat Manatee 3-2 Feb. 28.

4 - Cardinal Mooney’s Tyler Garris finished second in the 169-pound weight class with a combined lift of 505 pounds at the Sarasota Invitational Weightlifting Tour-nament March 1.

5 - The Braden River High boys track team finished fifth at the 12-team Sarasota Riverview Ram Invitational Feb. 28 at the Ram Bowl.
