+ Founders Club model The Girona set to open in May
A new model home in The Founders club is nearly complete.

London Bay Homes expects to open its The Girona model in May. The home, a single-family, three-bedroom villa, includes a Romanza interior design that will blend transitional and contemporary elements and feature a palette of sands and grays with subtle greens and rusts.

The Girona will have sun-bleached wooden floors, beadboard back splashes, a rustic beamed ceiling and other features in 3,526 square feet of living space.

The floor plan is one of 20 London Bay Homes offers in The Founders Club. It includes a formal dining room, a home office and other spaces.

Once furnished, The Girona will be priced at about $2 million.

The model has a three-car garage, bringing its total square footage to 5,072 square feet.

+ Beth Barnett joins Sotheby’s team
Longtime East County Realtor Beth Barnett has joined the Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Lakewood Ranch office, at 8141 Lakewood Ranch Main St.

Barnett will join forces with Realtor Charles Totonis to specialize in the sale of luxury homes in the River Club and Lakewood Ranch areas, among others.

“We are very pleased to welcome Beth Barnett to our dynamic Lakewood Ranch team,” said Judy Green, Premier Sotheby’s president and CEO. “She and Charles have solid track records of success in this region and will be a highly successful force.”

Barnett, formerly with Coldwell Banker, has more than 20 years’ experience in residential real estate sales and was one of the first residential real estate associates in Lakewood Ranch.

+ Davis acquires CornerStone Title
A Tampa Bay-based company has acquired CornerStone Title of Lakewood Ranch.

Aaron M. Davis, president and CEO of Hillsborough Title, has acquired CornerStone from founder Mary Howard, who will continue to serve as relationship manager for the local operation, which will retain the CornerStone Title name.

The acquisition is the fourth in four months for Hillsborough Title, which is making a strategic expansion into the Sarasota-Bradenton area.

“We are excited to join forces with Hillsborough Title,” Howard said. “The firm’s focus on customer service, best practices and the highest professional standards is a perfect fit for us. We will continue to provide the personalized services of a ‘Main Street’ com pay, with the additional support, resources and stability of a larger network.”

Howard said the transition will be seamless for CornerStone and will have a minimal impact on the company’s day-to-day operations.

Hillsborough Title now has 14 locations in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Pasco and Manatee counties.
