Obituary: William R. Hoff

William R. Hoff, of Mequon, Wis., and Longboat Key, died July 20. He was 90.

Mr. Hoff was a Milwaukee Country Day and Cornell University graduate, decorated World War II veteran and retired treasurer of ACRO Automation. He was a longtime Marietta Gang and Town Club member and renowned master of the down-the-line passing shot.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Bob and Tugger.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; children Paul, Bill Jr. and Nancy Hoff Covert; and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of a memorial service, hoist an MGD in his honor and donate to the American Cancer Society.
