Make him an offer he can't refuse

Innocently enough, Libby’s Café + Bar owner Steve Seidensticker came to greet a table of ladies who were lunching in his restaurant on a recent summer day. He learned that Beverly Bartner and her guests were there to plan the Asolo Rep’s “Men Who Cook” event, set for April 15, at the Longboat Key Club (which also sponsors it). Before he could escape, Seidensticker had been recruited to be one of the participating chefs at the fundraiser, which features a buffet of dishes created by about two-dozen Sarasota men who cook.
