+ Longboat Key Garden Club takes in new sights

The Longboat Key Garden Club is used to studying beautiful things. On Aug. 31, the group took a trip to the Dale Chihuly glass art exhibit on display at the Morean Arts Center in St. Petersburg. The exhibit, which opened in July, features 16 installations of Chihuly’s glass art. Perhaps the club members’ favorite piece was “Milli Fiori,” which is Italian for 1,000 flowers.
