1:14 a.m. — 6400 block of 48th Avenue Drive East.
Possession of cannabis, not more than 20 grams: The deputy responded to the residents in reference to suspicious persons on the property. The deputy arrived and conducted an investigation that resulted with juveniles being issued juvenile referrals.
June 12
2:48 a.m. — 8100 block of Natures Way.
Theft $300 to $5,000: The complainant and another person are in the process of a divorce. The complainant allowed her husband to stay the night so he could see his children. During this time, the complainant asked him to leave because he “overstayed his welcome.” When leaving, he took the juvenile children and the complainant’s cell phone without her knowledge.
June 13
2:30 p.m — 3800 block of 56th Avenue Circle East.
Burglary to a structure/larceny: Unknown persons entered the victim’s garage through an open garage door and removed property. One of the bikes had a flat tire and was found sitting near the road of the victim’s residence. The other bike was not located. The victim said nothing else was disturbed in the garage. The bikes are valued at $100 each.
June 15
4:23 p.m. — 34000 block of Singletary Road.
Information only: On the listed date, a male USPS worker rang the doorbell. After there was no response, the reporting party states the USPS worker tried to open the door by turning the doorknob. The complainant called her husband, who then called the sheriff’s office. Deputies searched the area with negative results. No report was taken at that time, April 24. The reporting party called USPS and reported the incident with it. On the date of this report, the reporting party saw the same USPS worker in her neighborhood. She called USPS and they stated they could do nothing about this incident. When she called the sheriff’s office, she was upset that the prior incident was never reported.
June 17
8:54 p.m. — 5100 block of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard.
Criminal Mischief, Misdemeanor $200 or under: The victims reported unknown person(s) ripped the plastic front bumper off his vehicle. The victim was at the location between 6:30 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. and when he got into his car, he noticed his front bumper on the ground. The victim state reexamined the vehicle and believes the damage was not done by another car hitting his, but rather someone tearing off the bumper of his car. The victim stated he did not know who did it and never saw anything. The victim said the business has surveillance and will provide more information if use is able to view the tap himself. The victim said he might be able to repair the bumper himself, but if not, he would have to buy a new one and did not know how much it would cost at this time.

6:15 a.m. — 9900 block of State Road 64 E.
Burglary unoccupied conveyance, unarmed: Unknown persons went to the location and forced entry to the vehicle by breaking the rear passenger side window. Inside, unknown persons stole items before fleeing.
