Mar Vista shows its spirit with totem pole

Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub lost a few palm trees during a freeze earlier this year, so artist Jeff Chouinard, aka Surf Soul Tiki, helped the restaurant carve a replacement. He replaced the trunks of two trees by carving two totem poles.
