Members of Ikebana International Sarasota taught more than 40 students the basic elements of creating Ikebana flower arrangements from the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, Saturday, May 12, at the Gulf Gate Library. The children each made their own arrangements and took them home to present to their mothers as Mother's Day gifts.
