Beach access receives more sand

The town is placing another 600 cubic yards of sand at the North Shore Road beach access this week to protect the road and utilities in the area. Commissioner Gene Jaleski thinks more should be done.

Feb. 6 All bark 7:16 p.m. -- 500 block of Spinnaker Lane. Animal Nuisance. Police responded to a noise complaint and found two dogs barking loudly. The homeowner was issued a written warning, and he agreed to keep his sliding doors closed.
