Homesick hound 5:35 p.m. - 700 block of Land's End Drive. Animal Found. A woman told police that she found her neighbor's dog roaming near Whitney Beach Plaza. The dog's owners appeared to be out of town and the neighbor agreed to take the dog until they returned. Later, it was discovered the homesick dog had run away from the sister of the dog's owner.

Key Real Estate: Lido home sells for $2.2 million

Bombay Sarasota LLC, a New Jersey limited-liability company, sold the home at 1325 Westway Drive in the Lido C subdivision to David and Linda Hargreaves, of Coventry, R.I., for $2.2 million. The transaction was the largest of 13 sales recorded between March 15 and March 19 on Longboat, Lido, St. Armands and Bird keys.
