Town staff has reopened the North Shore Road beach access in time for the holiday weekend.

The building for the Honorably Discharged Veterans of Sarasota has a large American flag painted on one side of the building where there is a boarded up window. The building hosts meetings for veterans and holds bingo on Saturday nights.Â
