PHOTO GALLERY: Riverview High School presents Stars to Starfish

Riverview High School hosted the world premier of Stars to Starfish Saturday, Nov. 17 in the high school's planetarium. Stars to Starfish is a 20 minute film which gives a basic overview of space and how it correlates with the ocean. It shows why Earth is unique and how all life originated in the ocean. After the show the public visited the aqua dome where kids and adults saw fish and held starfish.

Saint Boniface Episcopal Church held a celebration on Saturday, Nov. 17 to mark the end of their Pony Express Pledge Drive. All proceeds from the pledge drive supports basic ministries and community outreach. Members put on their cowboy boots for line dancing and enjoyed beverages at the saloon.

The American Heart Association hosted an 80's dance party on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Darwins on Fourth to celebrate a decade of heart disease awareness for women. The Go For Red campaign dispels the myth that heart disease is only a man's disease: since 1984 more women have died from heart disease than men. Boston Scientific sponsored the dance party, which promoted cardiovascular exercise and a good time for guests.
