Honor Sanctuary finds new home

East County-based Honor Sanctuary Animal Rescue moved into a ranch property on Lorraine Road about two months ago, where it is houses dogs and cats being readied for adoption. The site encompasses five acres.

Reported Jan. 1 12:33 p.m. -- 3500 block of 65th Avenue Circle East. Petit Theft. The victim reported she placed three gift cards in the mailbox, so they could be sent to her parents in South Carolina. A week later, her family notified her that they hadn't received the gift cards.
