Sheila B. Barach

Sheila B. Barach, of Longboat Key, Florida, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away

peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 93. Sheila succumbed to a long-

standing illness. She was the daughter of the late Ben and Anne Brown, of West

Newton, MA. 

Sheila was the beloved mother of David of Longboat Key, Michael of Carlisle, MA, and

Daniel of Israel.  She was pre-deceased by her husband Philip G. Barach, who passed

away in 2014.  Sheila was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great

grandmother.  She is survived by her three sons, 13 grandchildren, and three great

grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Stanetsky

Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA 02445.  Interment will follow at

Temple Mishkan Tefila Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Michael and Donna following the service until

5:00 PM.

To all those who knew Sheila Barach, including her close friends of the BeachPlace

community in Longboat Key, she was considered to be one of the sweetest, most

gracious, and most beautiful human beings in the world.
