Within walking distance of shopping and dining in St. Armands Circle, a luxurious home on the shores of Sarasota Bay recently went on sale in Lido Shores with an asking price of $9 million.
The five-bedroom, eight-bath home sits on 0.28 acres not far from the New Pass Bridge spanning toward Longboat Key. Built in 2005, its nearly 5,600 square feet of living space was recently remodeled by Mindy Webb of Mindy Webb Designs.

Though the luxury market typically operates and reacts differently to the Manatee/Sarasota market as a whole, even the broader housing economy has seen county to county variations on a theme in late 2025.
According to the Real Estate Association of Sarasota and Manatee:
In November 2025, Sarasota County reported 564 closed sales for single-family homes, a 28.5 percent increase year-over-year. The median sale price declined 6.6% to $457,495, continuing a gradual normalization from last year. Cash buyers made up 42.7% of all closed sales, while sellers received a median of 93.3% of their original list price.
In Manatee County, there were 548 single-family sales, representing a 13.7% decline year-over-year, reflecting a slower pace than October. The median sale price increased 13.3% to $487,233, driven in part by a shift in the mix of homes sold. Cash sales accounted for 27% of transactions, and sellers received 94.5% of their original list price.
“Sarasota and Manatee may share a border, but their single-family markets are behaving very differently,” said Debi Reynolds, 2025 RASM president and the managing broker at SaraBay Real Estate.
