Several changes are coming to St. Armands Circle in the coming weeks.

St. Armands Jewelers is taking the place of Jewelry by Cole with new ownership at 7 N. Boulevard of the Presidents.

The closed shop's namesake master goldsmith, Stephen Cole Powell, began handcrafting fine jewelry in 1974. He co-owned the shop with Karyn Powell.

New owner Mia Tohar Eylon recently announced she and her family look forward to holding a soft opening of the new jewelry store soon. The new store plans to also offer custom jewelry services and repairs.

Diane DelloRusso, a longtime manager, said she believes longtime and new customers will have fun perusing the new inventory at the shop.

On the other side of the Circle, Chocolate Emporium will be opening a new location at 28 S. Boulevard of the Presidents.

The sweets brand currently has a shop at 216C Pine Ave. on Anna Maria Island, and the owners look forward to opening the new St. Armands location this month.

The company focuses small-batch sweets, offering chocolate truffles, chocolate-dipped treats, and its signature salt water taffy.
