 A home on Casey Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. William and Donna Brian, of Nokomis, sold their home at 621 Casey Key Road to Kathryn Hutcheson, of Nokomis, for $3.5 million. Built in 1950, it has two bedrooms, one-and-a-half baths, a pool and 1,140 square feet of living area. It sold for $2.5 million in 2019.

 

SARASOTA

Vue: Kenneth and Katina Shanahan, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 805 condominium at 1155 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Karen and David Behrens, of Cassopolis, Mich., for $1.95 million. Built in 2017, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,287 square feet of living area. It sold for $1,622,200 in 2017.

Sarasota Bay Club: Sarasota Bay Club LLC sold the Unit 614 condominium at 1301 Tamiami Trail to Laura Ann Deneholz, of Sarasota, for $1.45 million. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,299 square feet of living area. It sold for $1.2 million in 2006.

Oyster Bay Estates: Thomas and Florence Harvey, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1909 Field Road to Margaret Varner and E. Billue Giugnard, of Sarasota, for $1,028,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,997 square feet of living area. It sold for $875,000 in 2014.

Condominium on the Bay: Margareta Bering, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1916 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Ostrander Investments LLC for $819,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It sold for $477,500 in 2004.

John and Laura Proctor, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 716 condominium at 988 Blvd. of the Arts to Andrea Myers, of Sarasota, for $725,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,555 square feet of living area. It sold for $615,000 in 2017.

Poinsettia Park: Larry and Janet Coats, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1922 Oleander St. to Paul and Syke Mata, of Sarasota, for $750,000. Built in 1947, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,287 square feet of living area. It sold for $555,000 in 2010.

Hudson Landings: Carl and Liza Caruso, trustees, sold the Unit 868 condominium at 868 Hudson Ave. to Gregory Orquera, of Sarasota, for $615,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,387 square feet of living area. It sold for $635,000 in 2014.

Renaissance: Samuel and Debra Cusano, trustees, of Delray Beach, sold the Unit 501 condominium at 750 N. Tamiami Trail to Elizabeth Hunter Heeps and Thomas Heeps, of Sarasota, for $490,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,405 square feet of living area. It sold for $690,000 in 2005.

Herbert Lustig, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 203 condominium at 750 N. Tamiami Trail to Norma Borella, of Sarasota, for $319,500. Built in 2001, it has one bedroom, one bath and 1,020 square feet of living area. It sold for $240,000 in 2003.

Pelican Cove: Florence Baldwin, trustee, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 261 condominium at 1503 Clower Creek Drive to Edward Jelonek and Mary Hammer, of Royal Oak, Mich., for $468,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,320 square feet of living area.

Ben and Lore Kaplan, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 140 condominium at 1531 Clower Creek Drive to Judith Katz, trustee, of Sarasota, for $426,800. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,320 square feet of living area. It sold for $275,000 in 2008.

The Landings: Alex and Christine Burnstan, of Sarasota, sold their home at 1745 Pine Harrier Circle to John Schmidt and Cynthia McEwen, of Sarasota, for $455,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,263 square feet of living area. It sold for $234,000 in 1989.

Lynnhurst: Peter and Freida Weaver, of Sarasota, sold their home at 2712 Lynnhurst St. to Martin Duvall and Daphne Bragg, of Sarasota, for $375,000. Built in 1957, it has four bedrooms, three baths and 1,957 square feet of living area. It sold for $74,000 in 1993.

Coral Cove: Sahara Property Management LLC sold the home at 1925 Upper Cove Terrace to Robert Cummins, of Bradford, Pa., for $360,000. Built in 1960, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,696 square feet of living area. It sold for $125,000 in 2005.

Gulf Gate: Bulent Bolgan, of Sarasota, sold his home at 6802 Roxbury Drive to Jill Weinstein and Peter Doody, of Sarasota, for $350,000. Built in 1969, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,760 square feet of living area. It sold for $230,000 in 2019.

Josiah Paul: Soren Hegener, of Lakewood, Colo., sold the home at 653 40th St. to Robert and Melanie Whaley, of Sarasota, for $328,000. Built in 1920, it has four bedrooms, two baths and 1,560 square feet of living area.

South Gate Manor: AP Croton LLC sold the home at 2529 Croton Ave. to Andrew Deme Jr., of Sarasota, for $305,000. Built in 1962, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,639 square feet of living area. It sold for $150,000 in 2013.

South Gate: Donald Snyder, Personal Representative, sold the home at 3418 Fairview Drive to Jonathan Meisenheimer and Susan Kow, of Sarasota, for $268,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,341 square feet of living area. It sold for $190,000 in 2014.

Landings South: Peter Rutherford, trustee, of St. Petersburg, sold the Unit 201 condominium at 1682 Starling Drive to James and Mary Finkler, of Sarasota, for $265,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,775 square feet of living area. It sold for $147,500 in 1997.

SIESTA KEY

Siesta Key Beach Residences: Richard and Laura Bevier, of Redding, Conn., sold their Unit 610 condominium at 915 Seaside Drive to Jeff Donchess and Annie Geary, of Orlando, for $1,095,000. Built in 2009, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,900 square feet of living area. It sold for $975,000 in 2013.

Jamaica Royale: Crist Holdings LLC sold the Unit 603 condominium at 5830 Midnight Pass Road to Mark and Charlene Pierce, of Grabill, Ind., for $835,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,285 square feet of living area. It sold for $725,000 in 2014.

Whispering Sands: Geraldine Roth sold her Unit 1101 condominium at 20 Whispering Sands Drive to Cassell von Baeyer and Jason Elcano, trustees, of Reno, Nev., for $730,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,282 square feet of living area. It sold for $390,000 in 2000.

Robert Hofmann, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 304 condominium at 101 Whispering Sands Drive to Thomas and Diane Vargetto, of Sarasota, for $490,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,271 square feet of living area. It sold for $310,000 in 2014.

Linda Baker, trustee, of Burton, Ohio, and Robert Masin, of Monrovia, Calif., sold their Unit V-35 condominium at 123 Whispering Sands Circle to Mary Hebb and Robert Parnell, of Sarasota, for $400,0000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,264 square feet of living area. It sold for $121,800 in 1995.

Casarina: Gary and Cornelia Allen, of Nova Scotia, Canada, sold their Unit 202 condominium at 5880 Midnight Pass Road to Joshua Sargent, of Sarasota, for $585,000. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,498 square feet of living area. It sold for $640,000 in 2009.

Peppertree Bay: Bert and Mary Rappole, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 228 condominium at 6037 E. Peppertree Way to Donald and Elizabeth Taylor, of Keller, Texas, for $515,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,180 square feet of living area. It sold for $555,000 in 2017.

Harbor Towers Yacht and Racquet Club: Minnich Siesta LLC sold the Unit 332 condominium at 5855 Midnight Pass Road to Siesta Investments LLC for $445,000. Built in 1976, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,257 square feet of living area. It  sold for $429,000 in 2015.

Sandy Cove: Ronald and Judith Ruff, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 116 condominium at 116 Pass Key Road to Charles and Valerie Jean Blood, of Sarasota, for $278,000. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 656 square feet of living area. It sold for $104,900 in 1999.

PALMER RANCH

Villagewalk: Franklin and Danitta Craft, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5562 Octonia Place to David and Svetlana Fox-Rabinovitz and Leo and Simon Fox-Rabinovitz, of Gaithersburg, Md., for $435,000. Built in 2003, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,008 square feet of living area. It sold for $295,000 in 2003.

Abraham Abreu, of Sarasota, sold the home at 5877 Ferrara Drive to Morgan and Mary Vittengl, of Sarasota, for $320,000. Built in 2002, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,008 square feet of living area. It sold for $294,000 in 2003.

Hamptons: Sunny Brownrout, of Sarasota, sold her home at 7238 Brambury Court to Ross and Coleen Ramey, of Ontario, Canada, for $385,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,817 square feet of living area. It sold for $234,600 in 2000.

Isles of Sarasota: Ronald and Charlene Hinton, trustees, of Venice, sold the home at 2114 Burgos Drive to JC and Carolyn Anne Waller, of Sarasota, for $351,500. Built in 2008, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,549 square feet of living area. It sold for $258,000 in 2012.

Boris and Anna Goman, of Sarasota, sold their home at 5699 Cabrera Court to Tommy and Stephanie Lundy, of Sarasota, for $295,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,846 square feet of living area. It sold for $255,000 in 2013.

OSPREY

Southbay Yacht and Racquet Club: Robert and Julie Koch sold their home at 432 Yacht Harbor Drive to Gina Bacorn, of Osprey, for $675,000. Built in 1977, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,125 square feet of living area. It sold for $370,000 in 2013.

Edgewater at Hidden Bay: HBH Waterview LLC sold the Unit B-502 condominium at 260 Hidden Bay Drive to Christine Macrie, of Osprey, for $650,000. Built in 2019, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,950 square feet of living area.

Villas at Osprey Harbor Village: DTM Development Inc. sold the Unit R2 condominium at 14041 Bellagio Way to Philip Edwards, of Naperville, Ill., for $440,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,086 square feet of living area.

Bay Street Village: William Sturner, of Nokomis, sold his Unit 101 condominium at 4308 Expedition Way to Bruce Tarpinian and Maria Gonzalez, trustees, of Bethesda, Md., for $265,000. Built in 2018, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,449 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $263,500 in 2018.

NOKOMIS

Calusa Lakes: Tina Janouris, of Abingdon, Md., sold her home at 2093 Tocobaga Lane to Edward Boyle and Catherine Callan, of Northville, Mich., for $420,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,209 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $545,000 in 2006.

Sorrento Woods: Michael and Judith Richards, of Reading, Mass., sold their home at 1123 Derian Place to Brian and Cathleen Craig, of Maumee, Ohio, for $415,000. Built in 1989, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,429 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $318,000 in 2005.

Falcon Trace at Calusa Lakes: Robert and Jennifer Kissel, of W. Chester, Ohio, sold their home at 2322 Harrier Way to Javeria Fayyaz, of Nokomis, for $335,000. Built in 1995, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,657 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $275,000 in 2008.
