Beachplace swings into annual golf tournament

About 50 golfers tested their game at the Islandside Golf Course March 12.

Despite cloudy and colder weather, the Beachplace golf tournament was still on par.

About 50 residents competed in the annual tournament at the Islandside Golf Course of the Longboat Key Club. Following their rounds of golf, teams and their guests gathered at Beachplace’s clubhouse for a cocktail hour and dinner.
