Christ Church hosts first Wednesday night dinner

The fellowship hall of Christ Church of Longboat Key was buzzing Jan. 24.

About 150 congregants gathered for the first of the church’s monthly Wednesday night dinners. Each month during season, church members enjoy dinner and either a presentation or performance.

This month’s dinner brought Jeremy Silverman, the church’s organist and pianist, into the spotlight. He performed following dinner.
