The Key Niner’s and the Women’s 18-Hole golf associations gathered for the annual Go for the Cure event on Feb. 28. The ladies played a round of golf followed by lunch at the Longboat Key Club Harbourside Dining Room.

From pink lemonade to pink flowers, the Longboat Key Club’s Harbourside Dining Room turned various shades of pink on Feb. 28, and for a good reason.
The Key Niners and Women’s 18-Hole golf associations hosted their annual Go for the Cure event. The event, a fundraiser benefiting Breast Health Sarasota, Inc. raised enough money last year to provide 65 screening mammograms, 35 diagnostic mammograms and various other services to clients.
Golfers donned their best shades of pink including pink feather boas, hats and even pink Mardi Gras beads to show their support. The ladies played a round of golf before enjoying a buffet-style lunch.
