As you neared the back patio of Amore Restaurant on April 6, it was evident that the members of the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce was doing what they do best- networking.

The chamber held its annual Hob Nob Thursday evening giving Chamber members the chance to mingle with local elected officials. Various commissioners and other town leaders were present to answer any questions and socialize with fellow locals.

Before Chamber President Gail Loefgren could introduce each elected officials, she had Howard Rooks, owner of Amore, make an announcement. The popular Longboat hotspot will be moving to Burns Court following its closing in May.
