Scott Anderson vacates position at Gulf Coast Community Foundation

Scott Anderson accepts position with the Jewish Housing Council Foundation.

The Jewish Housing Council Foundation announced that it has hired Scott Anderson as the Vice President of Philanthropy. 

Most recently Anderson served as the Senior Philanthropic Advisor for the Gulf Coast Community Foundation.In April 2007 Anderson joined the staff of GCCF of Venice as its first gift planning officer.

“We appreciate what Scott has done in our community and wish him great success with the Jewish Housing Council Foundation," said Mark Pritchett, Gulf Coast Community Foundation President and CEO in a release.

Anderson has signed a multi-year contract that will start  July 1. 

“We are honored and thrilled to have Scott Anderson joining our leadership team, especially during this exciting period of growth at Kobernick-Anchin-Benderson,” Brown said in a release. 

Anderson joins the Jewish Housing Council Foundation during a time of expansion for new programs and a $1.5 million investment in renovations for residents and the community. The expansions include changes to the campus to  include models of independent living and adult day care services. 

“Scott’s philanthropic reach and expertise will help us continue to raise the standard in senior living and care,” Brown said.  “He brings to us his love for the Kobernick-Anchin-Benderson campus and its residents, his deep knowledge of our nonprofit community and enormous enthusiasm for programs that benefit older adults.”
