Budget meeting agenda grows

A special meeting to adopt the budget at 5:01 p.m. Sept. 28 has turned into a mini-workshop.

While commissioners are poised to approve a $16,241,037 budget on second reading Monday night, the agenda for what’s usually just a 10-minute budget adoption session now has 10 agenda items.

Commissioners will also discuss a neighborhood utilities undergrounding project, the medical director’s contract, the 2016 Legislative session and how it relates to town lobbying efforts, the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort bankruptcy case, and an update to the town’s sign code.
