Travel light with the Garden Club

Longboat Key Garden Club members learned how to pack light at their first meeting of the year on Oct. 27.

Janis Fawn, of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, taught guests how to pack for a two-week trip with just a carry-on bag.

“Packing is all about psychology,” Fawn said. “When you open your suitcase to pack, try to think about if you really need to take something.”
