Thunder roll in season opener

The ODA boys basketball team beat SMA 66-48 Nov. 16.

The Out-of-Door Academy boys basketball team opened its season with a 66-48 victory versus Sarasota Military Academy in its season opener Nov. 16. 

Kolbie Ward led ODA with 22 points. Amad Brayboy added 15 points. 

Anthony Del Sole led SMA with 17 points. Isaiah Bryant added 13 points and Chris Gough hauled in seven rebounds. 

ODA followed up its win with a 66-41 victory versus Keswick Christian Nov. 17. Brayboy finished with 20 points and Jacob Garrett added 19 points and eight rebounds. ODA then posted a 62-26 district victory versus Imagine High Nov. 18. Ward led all scorers with 18 points. Kendall Johnson added five assists and six rebounds.
