County seeks adoption and support services companies

Manatee County will host an informational meeting March 6 for social service agencies who wish to provide adoption preservation and support services for Manatee County families.

Earlier this year, the Children's Services Advisory Board decided to solicit Request for Proposals from nonprofit agencies to provide comprehensive adoption preservation and support services for Manatee County children and their families.

Agencies selected through the RFP process will receive funding from the organization during the 2015-2016 fiscal year.

The meeting for applicants will be held at 1:30 p.m. March 6, at the Manatee County Administration Building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., in the third-floor Conference Room A, in Bradenton.

Applications are being taken now through May 12. Applicants must be nonprofit agencies.
