High Five Moments of the Week

1 - Braden River’s Ryan Walker finished third in the 50-yard freestyle at the Class 3A Swimming & Diving Championships Nov. 8.

2 - Pablo Vargas scored three goals to lead the Lakewood Ranch High boys soccer team to a 7-1 victory against Sarasota Nov. 3.

3 - Cardinal Mooney’s Cal Davidson Turner crossed the finish line in 15 minutes, 47.13 seconds to finish second at the Class 1A-Region 3 meet Nov. 8.

4 - The East Manatee Bulldogs Tiny Mite, Junior PeeWee and Midget cheerleaders all placed in the top three at the Cheer Jam Nov. 2 to advance to the regional competition.

5 - The Out-of-Door Academy’s Joie Eckhard finished seventh in the 200-yard freestyle at the Class 1A-Region 3 meet Nov. 8.
