The Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority unanimously approved a new three-year contract this morning for Lakewood Ranch Town Hall Executive Director Eva Rey.

The contract calls for an annual salary of $136,500, effective Aug. 1. The IDA board also approved an addendum to the contract that gives Rey a $5,000 bonus.

IDA Chairman Thomas Green said all of the Lakewood Ranch Community Development District boards “are 100% behind this new contract.”

Green cited Rey’s ability to improve customer service and communication at Town Hall and among residents as “just outstanding.”

“We’re looking forward to three more great years,” Green said.

Community Development District 6 Assistant Secretary Robert Burstein called Rey “an instrument, an anchor and a rock” for Town Hall.

Rey told the East County Observer she’s “very proud of my work here.”

“I look forward to another great three years,” Rey said.
