For the last year or so, I've noticed a trend among men's hairstyles, and I'm obsessed. Men are becoming more confident with transforming their 'do into more than just a tussled mess of hair on their heads. They've been experimenting with styles, both new and old, molding them into a fashion statement and accessory.

The runways have been blowing up with men who look slightly more groomed, with a touch of carefree mess, and stylists everywhere have been taking advantage of that. One great look for gentleman who prefer the shorter style is the Caesar. It's essentially a crew cut with bangs, but man, does it look good. This look can also be pretty versatile, whether you choose to slick it back for a dinner party or style it forward with your fingers for the messy, everyday look, it's something that most men feel confident in pulling off.

If you're more of the fashion-forward kind of guy, try heading to the salon or barber shop for the comb-over. Take it easy, it's not THAT kind of comb-over. This slicked-up look is a modern take on the classic clipper cut. The key is keeping the top full and thick so it stands on a diagonal with a bit of product or pomade.

But my favorite so far this year is none other than the classic style (recently renamed the Mad Men hairstyle). Although, we will say it does take a certain ... je ne sais quoi to pull off this look with confidence.

The Mad Men style is everywhere — from the stage to the silver screen, to the runway and even the red carpet. You can make this a classic, timeless look by keeping the sideburns very minimal and the top-length medium, or if you're a bit more edgy, try opting for a bald fade on the sides and asking your barber for a hard part.
